"Thanks. You will wish to know that yesterday was very successful - Cheryl was excellent and we all got a lot out of it, so many thanks to all concerned."
Bringing professional development to the top of the agenda for Israeli organizations has become a passion for me. I moved to Israel 3 years ago and have pushed myself to become acculturated as quickly as possible. I became aware that in this dynamic, young and vibrant country there is a space for growth in the way organizations relate to professional, organizational and personal development.
From that realization my company Pioneer leadership was born. The word Pioneer has been a word that has resonated for me for many years. For me the word talks about pushing boundaries, experience of the richest form, braveness and vision. Israel has a culture of pioneering from its inception. Those few who came with a dream and created a land they had dreamed of.
NLP too is about pioneering and I think this was what drew me to it.NLP presents a visionary way for people to bring change into their lives-through their language, their thinking patterns and through behavior, that I believe to be incredibly unique I grew up in London being very involved in a Jewish youth movement. It was there I went from being participant to leader, from leader to educator and from educator to director.
This experience taught me that successful organizations are organization
that love their employees and members, and believe in them and their potential
to be excellent.
After working in the movement for many years I went traveling to India and
south East Asia, and I believe this experience really allowed me to create
and develop my sense of global identity and collective conscience. In India
I met so many people who I was able to connect with, and this taught me
that connection can transcend culture and history, if you just let go and
allow it to.
I now live in Yaffo, a mixed city in Israel where Jews, Muslims and Christians live side by side. It is important for me to live in a place like this, as everyday it is a challenge, but it also increased understanding, and I believe this experience will lead me and the country ever closer to peace.
I travel back to London to work with Cheryl, my mother on various projects and am very excited about beginning to work on a new project of looking at NLP and spirituality and holding retreats in Israel.
