About Us : Sneha Kilhay

Snéha is an Asian woman who has been providing training for statutory and private organisations over the past ten years. Her background was working in Social Care.

Her specialism in training and consultancy has evolved over time. She has focused her consultancy work to support organisations to deal with the employment statutory requirements.

Linking to this, her training remit is to raise awareness of the importance of mainstreaming equality into every aspect of organisational responsibility so that staff members at all levels from Chief Executive, Board members to front line staff are conscientious of their responsibility in maintaining good practice within the equality stance.

Snéha has a MSc in Management of Human Resources and is a NLP Master Practitioner.

Philosophy

Snéha has incorporated the philosophy of ‘respect and dignity’ into all of her training and consultancy work. She communicates effectively, with the calibre of flair, enthusiasm and good interpersonal skills. She has developed a high level of expertise to deliver appropriately in the occasional challenging situations.

Training

Parallel to Equality and Diversity training, she also provides training on Personal Development, Assertiveness Training, Women’s Development Programmes. She became a licensed Springboard Women’s Development Programme trainer in 2000.

Snéha provides training on Management Development Courses. This includes; Post graduate certificate in Management, Organisational development and change, Organisation Culture and Team Building.

One to One Coaching and Mentoring

Snéha has developed a coaching practice whereby she has provided support on an individual and team base in creating clarity that has led to action. The process gives an opportunity of greater focus and awareness of choice.

On many occasions, she has participated in providing one to one coaching and mentoring for Black and Asian staff members who wish to explore professional and personal development. In addition to this, she has supported managers in establishing boundaries in managing a team effectively, especially if there are concerns around issues of discrimination and bad practice within a team setting.

Consultancy Input

Consultancy input to organisations who wish to develop their strategic long term view on the whole concept of diversity. This does include facilitating in Senior Management meetings, writing reports, updating policies and ensuring that the organisational ethos does include diversity issues into all aspects. Projects include working for Home Office Service Providers, Refugee Council, St Albans PCT, Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service.
